Abstract (en)
Timber-concrete composite beams are classified as modern support
systems. Originally, they arose from the need to strengthen existing
bridge or slab structures made of wood. This method of strengthening
the beams, where a concrete slab is installed over timber beams and
connected with shear studs, has proven to be very reliable and
efficient. The subject of the scientific research of this dissertation is
the composite timber-concrete beams, which are reinforced with
external elements for prestressing. In this way, a two-lane system was
formed. The experimental part of the research included testing ten
girders, which five were coupled, and five were coupled and
prestressed. The static span of the tested beams was 3.0m. The
experiment was conducted with two concentrated forces in 1/3 of the
span (four points bending test), and was limited to short-term loading.
The carrier test procedures were in accordance with the appropriate
standards. Through a comparative analysis of the results obtained
from the test, the degree of improvement of the reinforced beams was
determined according to the parameters of the ultimate force,
maximum deformations and stiffness of the girders. In addition to the
experiment, numerical models were created using the finite element
method in ANSYS and SAP2000 programs. The model made in SAP
can be used in everyday engineering practice to prove the bearing
capacity of these beams.

“Data exchange” service offers individual users metadata transfer in several different formats. Citation formats are offered for transfers in texts as for the transfer into internet pages. Citation formats include permanent links that guarantee access to cited sources. For use are commonly structured metadata schemes : Dublin Core xml and ETUB-MS xml, local adaptation of international ETD-MS scheme intended for use in academic documents.
