Abstract (en)
The aim of this study was to determine the differences between six-week active and passive off-season period (OSP) to the parameters of physical fitness of young soccer players. 48 young soccer players were divided into the experimental group (EG; n = 24; 16.83 ± 1.14 age; 175.35 ± 6.68 cm; BMI 21.42 ± 1.81 kg /m 2) and control group (KG; n = 24; 16.79 ± 1.19 age; 178.18 ± 6.97 cm; BMI 21.73 ± 1.57 kg /m2). EG represented the active group with a six-week training program with three training per week, including high-intensity interval training (HIIT), strength training with own load and small sided games (SSG), and KG represented the passive group that had no physical activity during the OSP. Subjects were tested immediately after the competition period, after two and after six weeks during the OSP in the parameters of body composition, muscle fitness, anaerobic and aerobic fitness. EG and KG differences were determined by analysis of the variance – ANOVA with repeated measures with Bonferroni post hoc test and by mixed between-within subjects ANOVA to estimate the measurement impact between EG and KG. Based on the measurement results, we can conclude that the six-week training program which includes HIIT, strength training with its own load and SSG has a positive effect on sport form decreasing prevention expressed through the parameters of physical fitness in young soccer players during the OSP. Unlike the active, the passive OSP for young soccer players has shown a major negative change in the parameters of body composition, muscle fitness, anaerobic and aerobic fitness. The results of this dissertation could be very helpful to coaches and professionals in achieving optimal preparation of soccer players during the OSP and just before the beginning of preparation period, as well as how it could influence on the long-term development of sports form of young soccer players.
